Using Creator Studio

Individual Use
To begin a creativity session, simply select one of the specialized Creativity Studios and type in the situation you want to focus your creative thinking on. Creator Studio will guide you through your creativity session step by step, as you interact with the Creativity Tools, creating new ideas, solving problems and innovating to achieve your desired goal.

At the end of the session, your ideas will be displayed in Creator Studio's integrated text editor for your review and editing. You can save your work on your computer's hard drive or server, share a printed copy in meetings and use your favorite email application to send a copy to your coworkers.

Team Use
A team can use Creator Studio to combine and enhance their efforts to create new ideas, innovate and solve problems for the projects they work on using the following method:

· Hold a meeting (local, teleconference or virtual conference) where the team leader and or the team members decide on the creative thinking tasks for the team to focus on.
· Select one or more creative thinking task to assign to each team member or assign all of the tasks to the entire team.
· After the meeting each team member can do one or more Creator Studio sessions on each of the creative thinking tasks they were assigned.
· Schedule an idea review meeting where the results of the team's Creator Studio sessions will be discussed.
· Team members may also use Creator Studio when dealing with other challenging creative thinking issues that arise in the course of their daily work.
· At the scheduled idea review meeting the team members can share the results of their individual Creator Studio sessions.
· The team can discuss the ideas and decide which ideas are ready to put into action in their current form, which ideas need further development, how to develop the ideas further and how to put the ideas into practice.
· If desired the team can hold a traditional brainstorming session on some or all of the ideas from the individual Creator Studio sessions to create even more ideas.
· Repeat the evaluation and implementation process for the new ideas from the brainstorming session.
· Any new creative thinking tasks that are identified during the meeting may be assigned to individual team members or to the entire team to do Creator Studio sessions on, with the results of these new sessions to be shared at the next meeting.
· As the meeting progresses an action plan should be developed with tasks and goals assigned to the team members.

For obtaining the best results with Creator Studio, we recommend a thorough review of the help files before starting your first creativity session. This will allow you to become familiar with the creative thinking methods employed by Creator Studio and how the creativity tools and other components operate. You can also access the help files at any time during a creativity session by pressing the F1 key on your keyboard. · Shift my perspective repeatedly to create new ideas and explore alternative possible solutions.
